Honoring Jeff Brady: A Hero, A Protector, A Legacy

There are people who talk about doing what's right, and there are people who simply do it — without hesitation, without recognition, without a second thought. Jeff Brady was the latter.
Jeff came into the world of MMA and combat sports with the same intensity he brought to everything in his life. His ties to the PFL (Professional Fighters League) and the broader MMA community were more than professional — they were personal. He understood what it meant to compete, to sacrifice, and to show up for the people around you. That same warrior spirit that defined him in the fight world carried into every room he walked into, every cause he championed, and every person he stood beside.
Jeff was one of the most dedicated supporters The Hendo Foundation has ever had. He showed up — at the golf tournament, at events, behind the scenes — not for recognition, but because he believed in what we were building. He understood that serving veterans, protecting youth, and giving back to the community wasn't just a mission statement. It was a way of life. And he lived it.
On July 5th, 2025, Jeff Brady made the ultimate sacrifice. When he saw two young boys — ages 10 and 12 — struggling in the river, he didn't stop to calculate the risk. He went in. He saved those children. And in doing so, he gave everything he had.
That is who Jeff Brady was: a protector, a provider, and a selfless hero in every sense of the word. The kind of man who doesn't think about himself in the moments that matter most — only about who needs help and how fast he can get there.
The Hendo Foundation is deeply honored to carry Jeff's legacy forward. The values he embodied — courage, selflessness, and an unwavering commitment to those who need protection — are the same values that drive every program we run, every event we hold, and every dollar we raise. We will continue fighting for veterans, standing up for at-risk youth, and serving this community in his name.
Jeff Brady didn't just support this foundation. He exemplified what this foundation stands for. Rest easy, brother. We've got it from here.
